Cute DIY Snow Globe
"It's beginning to feel a lot like Christmas......" I know that it is not exactly Christmas time yet, but I think the DIY snow globe is the most perfect Christmas decorative item. I mean we all know that snow globes are traditionally used to decorate homes during the Christmas time. However, this item does not necessarily have to be made for Christmas. In fact, I am going to create a snow globe for decorating my room the whole entire year. It just very cute and simple craft to make.
To make the snow globe, you need four items that can be found in your home or bought from an arts and crafts store. A small figurine is needed to be the theme of the globe or the main focus. You also need glitter to act as the "snow". Super glue is also needed to glue the figurine onto the lid of the jar. Make sure the super glue is water resistant, because if it is not the water will soften the glue causing the figurine to detach from the base. Lastly, you will need a mason jar and water to pour into the the jar.
Once again, I will be creating this snow globe for my room and defiantly for Christmas. I hope that some of you try creating the cute snow globe as well.

Let me start off by saying I love your blog. I consider myself a very crafty person and love to make crafts out of everyday house hold items. I also am a huge fan of the Christmas season and making cute little ornaments and statues with my family. When I grow up and get married and have kids, I want to be able to sit down with my family and make cute things such as the snow globe and be able to place it on the mantel every year. I also think that DIY projects are a great way for someone to get involved with clubs and people in their community.
ReplyDeleteThis would be a great gift for children to give to their parents around this time of year. It also benefits for younger children because its cheap, but still looks good when it's done. Personally I could make this craft right now, and that's how easy it is. I love this great idea.
ReplyDeleteThis is so adorable! I absolutely love this idea. This craft can be made by nearly anyone! You can do it with friends at a party or just when you're bored. It's also pretty cheap so it's really easy to obtain. Every one can be unique so you'll never get tired of making them!
